Canal 9 en Français live stream

Canal 9 en Français online television

Canal 9 en Français is the French-language regional television channel of Switzerland's Valais canton, produced in the Rhône valley and broadcast from the Canal 9 studios that serve the French-speaking part of the region. The channel offers a window into the life, culture and current affairs of the Valais, from the alpine villages to the towns along the Rhône, with news, magazine programmes and cultural features that reflect the everyday life of residents.

The news backbone is the regional bulletin, which reports on cantonal politics, the economy, tourism, public safety and the life of the communities across the valley, with short reports from the mountains and interviews with the people involved. Magazine programmes take a closer look at local projects, sport and the traditions of the region, while the schedule also features documentaries, cultural programmes and music shows that bring Swiss and francophone artists to the screen. Sport, and especially winter sport and football, keeps a steady place in the grid, and family programmes fill the weekend.

For viewers in Switzerland and for French speakers living abroad, the channel is a daily window on the Valais.
