BVN online television

BVN is the international Dutch-language television channel that carries the best of Dutch public broadcasting to viewers outside the Netherlands. Set up as a joint project of the Dutch public broadcaster NPO and its Flemish counterpart VRT, the station presents itself under the motto as good as home, and it reaches the world through its app and the livestream on its website, by satellite across much of the globe, and on cable in the Caribbean, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Its audience is the Dutch-speaking diaspora as much as anyone learning the language.

The grid is a daily selection from the public networks. News comes from the NOS Journaal bulletins and the in-depth reporting of Nieuwsuur, while history is served by Andere Tijden, the documentary series revisiting turning points of the Dutch past. Drama slots carry flagship Dutch series such as the Maastricht police procedural Flikken Maastricht, quiz and talk formats include the long-running knowledge battle De Slimste Mens ter Wereld, and the children's block brings up a new generation on Sesamstraat, the Dutch co-production of Sesame Street. The channel also follows the national calendar, from the King's Day celebrations to the arrival of Sinterklaas.

Watch Live when the evening news goes out at Dutch time, because the BVN Live Stream carries the same feed the app and the satellite deliver worldwide. Use this TV Online service on a phone, a tablet, a computer or a television set, Watch TV Online Free wherever the feed is open, stream online when a Nieuwsuur investigation airs, and keep the Netherlands Live Stream running for a daily link to home.
