BTV online television

BTV is an Indonesian free-to-air digital television network owned by B Universe, and it has carried four names: trial transmission began on 1 May 1998 and the official launch followed on 29 May as Q Channel, short for Quick Channel, renamed QTV on 15 September 2005, turned into the news channel BeritaSatu on 3 September 2011 and took its current name on 11 October 2022 at 09:53 Western Indonesian Time, during the opening of the BNI Investor Daily Summit 2022 by President Joko Widodo. The founder was Peter F. Gontha, and the parent took the name B Universe at the same ceremony.

The head office moved on 22 January 2024 to the Tokyo HUB superblock at Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, Otto Iskandardinata Street 7, Lemo, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency, Banten 15510, and a news facility named Studio Semesta was inaugurated there on 10 June 2025, broadcasting from it since 16 June 2025. Bulletins still air under the BeritaSatu brand across the morning, midday and late slots, joined by the Investor Daily business strand and entertainment titles such as Dunia RANS, licensed from RANS Entertainment and on air since 26 August 2024. The slogan has rotated repeatedly and reads Bersatu Menginspirasi again from 1 January 2026.

Terrestrial delivery runs on DVB-T2 multiplexes as virtual channel 12 across seven provinces, from Jakarta and its four satellite cities on 26 UHF to Bandung on 44, Surabaya on 32, Medan on 40, Yogyakarta on 35 and Semarang on 39, plus daily two-hour relays by local stations of the Disway network.
