Bravo TV online television

Bravo TV is an Argentine open digital television channel that broadcasts on 27.1 in Buenos Aires and on pay television operators nationwide. It was launched in the early 2020s as a joint venture between Grupo Perfil and Grupo Cronica, presented at the MALBA museum by Sebastian Beltrami, chief executive of the television area of Perfil, and Facundo Pedrini, director of Cronica TV, together with Jorge Fontevecchia and Raul Olmos. Perfil put in the entertainment content, the telenovelas, the antenna and the open television transmitters in Buenos Aires, along with administration and sales, while Cronica supplied the popular journalistic output from its own studios.

The news side brought three newscasts and the magazine Las Bravas. The original design was twelve hours of programming inside twenty four hours of transmission, four of them live and eight filled with telenovelas such as Enfermeras, Destilando Amor, Avenida Brasil, Tierra Indomable, Rosario Tijeras, Metastasis and La Usurpadora. Perfil Teledifusora later bought the remaining half of the channel from Grupo Olmos and became the sole owner, and the channel was relaunched with a prime time built entirely on political journalism under the slogan Lejos del poder, cerca de la gente, with four daily programmes on weekday evenings and more than fifty contributors.

The group also operated Net TV, Caras TV and Canal E. More recently the channel was sold to the Alpha Media group, which announced a relaunch as a general channel with entertainment and news.
