Bolton Community Voice Channel (CVC) Government (Bolton CT) online television
Bolton Community Voice Channel (CVC) Government (Bolton CT) is the governmental feed of Community Voice Channel, the non-profit public access station that carries the civic life of seven towns in eastern Connecticut: Andover, Bolton, Ellington, Hebron, Marlborough, Tolland and Vernon. The studio sits at 105 Notch Road in Bolton, Connecticut 06043, and the station splits its output across three signals, Public, Education and Government, with the government channel reaching cable subscribers at 96 and 1084 on one line-up and at 6015 on the other.
Bolton itself is governed in the New England manner, by town meeting with a first selectman and a board of selectmen, a form it has kept since it was incorporated in October 1720. Rodney Fournier holds the first selectman post and sits with Robert R. Morra, Michael W. Eremita, Kimberly A. Miller and Nicole Sullivan. Around them work the bodies that fill the government channel: the Board of Selectmen, the Finance Committee, the Board of Education, Planning and Zoning, the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Inland Wetlands Commission, the Conservation Commission, the Fire Commission, the Board of Ethics, the Board of Assessment Appeals and the BLRWPCA sewer board, plus the town meetings themselves and the standing Public Comment slot.
Watch Live on the Government player at cvcct.org, which runs the feed around the clock, and catch up on the station YouTube page, which is what the site tells viewers to use for meetings. The archive carries the Bolton Board of Selectmen, the Tolland Town Council, the Hebron Town Council and the Tolland and Andover boards, filed with its date. The CVC Government Live Stream is delivered at 480p, use this TV Online service on a phone, a laptop or the television in the living room, Watch TV Online Free, and stream online whenever a vote or a hearing is called. A United States Live Stream costs nothing.
