Blaze is a British free to air entertainment channel that launched on 20 September 2016 and is owned by Hearst Networks UK, a joint venture between A&E Networks and Sky Group. It broadcasts in English for the United Kingdom and Ireland in 576i standard definition, with a one hour timeshift service under the name Blaze +1, and it sits on Freeview at channel 64 with the timeshift at 92. The name was chosen deliberately, because Blaze was the first channel the company launched in Britain without borrowing a brand from its American portfolio, the abbreviation A&E being read in Britain as the accident and emergency department.

The lineup draws on the owner's library of factual entertainment and adds British originals. Junk & Disorderly sends Henry Cole and the Junketeers into auctions for automobilia and vintage toys, Dickinson's Real Deal puts collectors in front of the antiques expert David Dickinson, Secrets In The Ice examines finds such as a secret military base a few hundred miles from the North Pole, Walking Through History follows the story of the Bronte family on the moors, and Crimes That Shook Britain revisits cases including the disappearance of Sarah Payne.
