BL-TV/TV Storbyen online television
BL-TV/TV Storbyen is a Danish local television channel for the capital, on air under the name TV Storbyen, which means television for the big city. The station is run by BL-TV, short for Bispebjerg Lokal TV, and it has applied for a broadcast licence on Kanal Hovedstaden, filing a presentation film about the district with the application. Its home area is Bispebjerg in northwestern Copenhagen, postcode 2400 Kobenhavn NV, a city district of roughly 54,000 residents whose landmark is Grundtvigs Kirke. The station publishes a live feed and an archive of finished programmes on its own web television site.
The output is local reporting rather than studio talk. Recent items in the archive include veterans demonstrating against criticism of Danish soldiers, the demonstration held in Copenhagen on 17 January under the name hands off Greenland, the wall paintings of Nordvest, Emdrup So in a series about beautiful Denmark, a light concert in Grundtvigs Kirke, ice on the Copenhagen lakes in January, the national day of Mexico on Blaagards Plads and a mosaic artwork inaugurated near Gartnergade on Norrebro. Other films cover Lundehus Torvefest, the railway town of Jernbanebyen, Grondalsparken and the sheep of Utterslev Mose, and the district committee appears in a walking frame march arranged for the most vulnerable residents.
The signal is a continuous Live Stream running alongside the archive, so a viewer can Watch Live whenever the district is on screen and return to a finished programme later in the week. Use this TV Online service on a phone, a tablet, a laptop or a television set, Watch TV Online Free where the feed is open, stream online through the evening, and keep the Denmark Live Stream running for local news, culture and the streets of Copenhagen.
