<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TPA Internacional, atualmente conhecido como TPAi, foi um canal de televisão por assinatura angolano pertencente à Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA). O idioma principal de transmissão era o português. O canal foi lançado em 2008 com o objetivo de servir a diáspora angolana e promover uma imagem atual e realista do país internacionalmente. Suas transmissões regulares para a Europa começaram em 24 de julho de 2008. Após mais de uma década no ar, o canal foi extinto em 18 de julho de 2022, sendo substituído pelo novo canal TPA Notícias.</p><br><br><p>No ar, a programação do TPA Internacional era composta por uma seleção dos melhores programas dos canais domésticos TPA 1 e TPA 2. Sua grade incluía telejornais, programas de variedades, entretenimento, documentários e magazines, além de blocos específicos para a atração de investimentos para Angola. O conteúdo tinha como foco a realidade política, social, econômica e cultural do país, visando manter a comunidade angolana no exterior informada e conectada com a sua origem.</p><br><br><p>O TPA Internacional estava disponível em Portugal via cabo (NOS e MEO) e em grande parte da Europa (incluindo França, via Free) e América através de transmissão por satélite. Os parâmetros técnicos satélite incluíam a recepção através do satélite Eutelsat W3A (7º este) em sinal aberto para a Europa. O canal também estava disponível em Moçambique através das operadoras ZAP e TV Cabo.</p><br><br><p>Segundo a administração da TPA, o TPA Internacional procurava mostrar ao mundo uma visão actualizada e construtiva de Angola, servindo como um elo de ligação entre o país e os falantes de língua portuguesa. A missão do canal era proporcionar momentos de entretenimento e informação de qualidade à comunidade angolana emigrada, bem como a todos os interessados na realidade do país. Embora hoje tenha sido descontinuado, o legado do TPA Internacional foi de ter aproximado a diáspora angolana da sua pátria durante os seus 14 anos de existência.
